We welcome you to Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation Website,our purpose include but not limited to promoting responsible fatherhood through formation of Dad's Club Chapters, organise events that support healthy fatherhood activities, promote and to encourage responsible parenting and fatherhood.

GFIF events enable fathers to improve their relationships and reconnect with their children and help to overcome obstacles and barriers that often prevent fathers from being the most effective and nurturing parent possible. While the primary goal of Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation is promoting fatherhood in all of its various forms, an essential point is to encourage fatherhood within the context of bridging gab between Dads and Children.

The development of GFIF began in May 2008. It was officially incorporated in 2009 as a Non-Governmental Voluntary Organisation, with Samuel NiiTeiko Tackie as Founder, Emilia Naa Ahimah Nunoo and William Nii Amartey Laryea as founding members.

GFIF is established to rely on the generosity of the General Public, Donors, Sponsors and Expertise in performance of its duties.

The goal of GFIF is to inspire men to a greater level of excellence as fathers for the benefit of their children. Even a 10% improvement in fathering could save Ghanaians some Cedis per year.

To make excellence in fathering the norm of everyday life in Ghana and be a fatherhood resource for the rest of Africa. GFIF believes that promoting excellence in fathering is the most cost effective way to reduce the risk of harm and abusive behaviours within the broader community.

Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation calls on men everywhere to offer their commitment to the ideals of fatherhood. We exhort fathers to make their primary goal in life the care and nurture of their families.
