We welcome you to Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation Website,our purpose includes but not limited to promoting responsible fatherhood through formation of Dad's Club Chapters, organise events that support healthy fatherhood activities and to encourage responsible parenting and fatherhood.

Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation (GFIF) events enable fathers to improve their relationships and reconnect with their children and help to overcome obstacles and barriers which often prevent fathers from being the most effective and nurturing parent possible. While the primary goal of Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation(GFIF) is promoting and encouraging Committed,Available and Responsible (C.A.R) fatherhood in all of its various forms, an essential point is to encourage fatherhood within the context of bridging gab between Dads and Children.

The development of Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation (GFIF) began in May 2008. It was officially incorporated in 2009 under the Companies code,1963(Act 179) as a Non-Governmental Voluntary Organisation(G-27,583) under the leadership of Samuel NiiTeiko Tackie as Founder and President,supported by Executive Management Council. 

Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation(GFIF) is established to rely on the generosity of the General Public, Donors, Sponsors and Expertise in performance of its duties.

The goal of GFIF is to inspire men to a greater level of excellence as fathers for the benefit of their children. Even a 10% improvement in fathering could save Ghanaians some Cedis per year.

To make excellence in fathering the norm of everyday life in Ghana and be a fatherhood resource for the rest of Africa. Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation (GFIF) believes that promoting excellence in fathering is the most cost effective way to reduce the risk of harm and abusive behaviours within the broader community.

Because life is more complex than ever, it is even more important for a father to be involved with the child each day. Ther son or daughter doesn't need expensive vacations, clothes or to be entertained every second. Children simply need to know that father's are there to provide the emotional support which they need. Whether the father i a single dad, a step dad, a grandfather or even a father figure, the attention and love are essential in raising a healthy child.
