        Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation is the voice for your children when it comes to joining a DAD'S CLUB CHAPTER.  We urge you to get involve and join a DAD'S CLUB OF GHANA.

Our monthly meetings are informative, and keep you abreast of the happenings in schools, communities, Churches as well as our Districts, Regions and Country as a whole.  To accommodate our Fathers, we alternate our meetings between days and evenings. 

        Through membership donations, fundraising activities, local and International Grants and Sponsorships, we shall be able to provide programmes for Dads and our Children; donate a gift to our schools and participate in the Future Dad's Club Scholarship programmes, which shall benefit our Children who will be getting the opportunity to continue their Education and to participate in local and International Camps and Exchange Progrmmes.

Your contributions go a long way toward supporting the enrichment of Children, establishing Dads Club Chapters and implementing programmes.

___Office Assistant Join in the effort to establish Dads Club Chapters and learn how a non-profit agency functions as you assist with mailings, maintaining and fulfilling requests for brochures and resource collections, updating databases, and many other aspects of our day-to-day operations. Our office hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday.

___Special Events Assistant Events in local communities Nation-wide provide an opportunity for us to raise public awareness about Fatherhood Initiative, increase our visibility in the community, disseminate prevention materials, and make referrals. In addition, we host several of our own community events including our signature fundraiser; Picture this, throughout the year. Activities include staffing Fatherhood display booth at area conferences, workshops, fairs, etc., and helping out at our events with set-up and registration. Attending these events enables you to learn while you are helping Fatherhood Initiative Programmes.

___Public Relations Assistant Volunteers assist with the creation of public awareness materials, such as the quarterly newsletter, brochures and manuals. We need people with expertise in editing, proofing, photography, graphics, and press relations.

___Resource Developer As a non-governmental-organisation, Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation needs your help in garnering monetary support, soliciting in-kind donations, recruiting new members and staffing fundraising events.

___Conference/Seminar/Workshop Assistants Our Nation-wide Conference/seminars/workshops on Fatherhood suppose to bring together over 300 professionals working with Fathers, children and families from the across the Nation for two days of workshops and networking. Volunteers staff our display booth, assist in registration, and serve as moderators. As an added benefit, volunteers may attend a workshop.

Membership Benefits

The benefits are multiple, unique and can be specially catered to meet organization or individual's needs.

General benefits include but are not limited to:

Receiving updates on the activities of the policy making and activities of GHANA FATHERHOOD INITIATIVE FOUNDATION (GFIF).

To be notified from time to time of funding and capacity building opportunities as well as upcoming Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation meetings and events.

Have the opportunity to contribute to the policy making and raise any concerns on processes or implementation.

Be able to contribute ideas to the development priorities for Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation and to contact and exchange experiences with other members of Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation and to participate in Annual Conferences and Award Meetings.

The opportunity to be actively involved with Partners' and to participate in Fatherhood Initiative Programs to learn and share information on new programs.

Membership in the Partnership and Affiliate group is limited to a finite number of organizations in certain categories at any one time that are Partners and colleagues in Promoting and Encouraging responsible Fatherhood in Ghana.

The Partnership will provide an interactive forum through membership retreats, conferences, workshops and on line communications for members to learn and share information on fatherhood Initiative.

Volunteers with the skills and desire to take more responsibility will be given priority for management positions, Honorary or Life Membership.

All contributing volunteers shall be credited for their work on Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation website and other social net-works.

Volunteers shall have the opportunity to post message and photo on Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation website and Social net-works.

Ghana Fatherhood Initiative Foundation shall write letters of recommendation and verify time donated by a Volunteer.

Volunteer Staff shall be offered the opportunity to participate in International Conferences and workshops if available.

Certificate of recognition shall be awarded to deserving members of GHANA FATHERHOOD INITIATIVE FOUNDATION (GFIF) each year, at Annual Award Conference.

We looking to establish partnerships and net-work with a variety of organisations that advocate men's care,fatherhood Initiative and protection of children.
